I promised samena I would post this and then it got buried in my To Do List, but I finally REMEMBERED!  Anyway, she was discussing starting a fanfic critiquing community for and I suggested it be completely anonymous in order to avoid maximum wankage:  Writers would submit fics (or parts of fics) to the comm and others would comment anonymously.  This would be HEAVILY moderated in order to avoid aforementioned wank, but also to weed out trolls and any outright meanness.  I know there are a LOT of newbies to our fandoms and many are finding it difficult to find betas, so this might be a push in the right direction toward improving their writing in order to snag a quality beta.

Anyway, read, comment, suggest, kick around some ideas...

AND... one more clicky.  For anyone that has not been reading the latest series by alaana-fair.  HOLY SHIT DO IT NOW!!!!!!  NOW I SAY!!!!  Both Harry and Draco are massively screwed up due to having the pride factor in spades, but Blaise Zabini decides to step in and give them a nudge in the right direction.  I hate threesomes, but Blaise is SO FUCKING MADE OF WIN in this fic that I almost want them to keep him.
