Randomness and Recs
Nov. 21st, 2008 07:36 amHi everyone!!!! Many kisses to you all! I know I’ve been out of commission for a bit, especially since I used to stalk LJ for at LEAST eight hours a day, lol! I miss all of you a billionty now that I can only log on at night (except to answer emails and comments, which I do from work anyway), and that’s after I wrench my kids away from the laptop. Literally. By the hair, sometimes. I should never have introduced them to Runescape. Apparently I forgot about the six solid months I spent playing that damned game. Obsessive gaming insanity is apparently hereditary. Who knew?
Anyway, since all of my current fics are three bazillion pages long, I’ve decided to post Summer Camp on my journal. Some of you have already read it, since it was written for the AS/S Carnival over the summer. Surprisingly, I FINISHED IT. *sticks out tongue at shawn_anne * So there, Ari. LOL! But you can’t have the ending until I get to that point in the posting. *evil Slytherin grin*
I do have MANY recs, also! After sending my ludicrously long hd_holidays fic to my beta (a measly couple of days before it was DUE) I stupidly sent her some promptage saying, “I want a story. Write me a drabble.” She immediately threw down that silly beta work and wrote an adorable fic you can read HERE. And then she was possessed by the devil (also known as
bryoneybrynn ) and wrote THIS. For those of you that adored her sweet Catboy series… well, let’s just say be prepared for something a little different. *wicked grin*
Of course, being made of WIN she managed to go without sleep for far too long in order to finish said beta, which has been delivered into the hands of the awesome mods at hd_holidays . YAY!!!
I've also been reading nearly everything posted at the_ass_fest and there has been much Winter Shorts awesomeness there. Too many to rec, so just go read them. You've probably already read bryoneybrynn 's EVIL EVIL drabble of EVILNESS, but it's awesome for all its uber-angst, damn her. It's HERE if you haven't, by some stint of lying beneath a rock, read it.
