dysonrulesYou already know how much I love jordan_c_price 's Psycop series. Well, someone in the Merlin fandom actually lifted her ENTIRE first Psycop book, changed the names, and pawned it off as an AU Merlin fanfic.
This was not a fanfiction she stole, but a PUBLISHED BOOK.
You can find the details here, plus some good advice from Jordan for all you original fic writers out there. I realize that I misplaced a lot of my morality somewhere along the way, but how fucking low do you have to be in order to steal someone else's work and pawn it off as your own, accepting praise as though it were your own handiwork? I don't even have words.
If you are in the Merlin fandom, please ostracize the thief in question. It doesn't sound like she is remorseful enough to refrain from doing it again, so hopefully next time she can be forced to pay some damages rather than walk away with a few angry words thrown her way.
