Notes:  This came to me when I was thinking of Mothers' Day and is dedicated to all the super moms out there!  I never wrote anything this short in my life!  Well, maybe a grocery list...
 

 

            Draco stood before the bay window in the library of Malfoy Manor. His mother’s arms were around his waist and her chin rested on his shoulder.

 

            “Mother, I’m in love with Harry Potter.”

 

            “Yes, dear. I know.”

 

            Draco’s brain disconnected for a moment.  “What?” he managed.

 

            “He’s the only thing you ever talk about. I’ve known for years.”

 

            “But I only discovered I loved him last week. How could you have known for years?”

 

            “Mothers know everything, dear.”

 

            Draco was silent for a moment.

 

            “Does father know?”

 

            “Yes, but he hopes you’ll grow out of it.”

 

            “I’m twenty six, Mother.”
