A QUESTION FOR THE F-LIST

ANYWAY. ON TO THE VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION.
Say that you are a parent. Say that you are a parent named Harry Potter and you happen to own an invisibility cloak. Say you have some children attending the same school that you went to. Say that you got into loads and loads of trouble at that school wearing that cloak, even though it was only used (mostly) FOR VERY IMPORTANT WORLD-SAVING BUSINESS.
Now, if you were Harry Potter, a grown up and VERY RESPONSIBLE DADDEH, would you give your children your invisibility cloak? WHY? And which one? And WHYYYYY? Because I just can't justify it. "I am giving you my cloak in the hope that you will not use it to spy on people and get into loads of WHAT AM I SAYING? OF COURSE YOU'RE NOT GETTING THIS. GEEZ."
However, for this particular fic I really need Albus to have the cloak. ERGO, MY DILEMMA. Help me, f-list. Persuade Harry to part with his precious cloak.
