I believe in a day when people can love anyone they want without worrying about being ostracized, hated, and even killed for it.  Otherwise, what's the fucking point?  And to that end, here is a link to one of my favourite new sites.  Click on PHOTOS to be amazed.  The photographer is incredible and the number of people involved is awe-inspiring.  Let's hope it takes over the planet.

Thank you everyone for your righteous indignation. (Seriously. I'm not being a smartass.) It does make me feel better that there are other people in the world besides me going WTF?

It's hard to explain why this incident felt like such a violation, but she had this vid with a borrowed soundtrack, images appropriated from TV, the title AMONG THE LIVING (mine), the PsyCop concept (mine), and my lovely, catchy first line, somewhat adulterated so as not to sound too American, I suspect. Then the words "by Gwendolynflight."

I really hadn't expected that to hit me as hard as it did.

(And BTW I did a PsyCop trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2JqNXNoXgw with a soundtrack I created in garageband, artwork I created in photoshop, and some clip art I purchased -- so it's not necessary to cannibalize other peoples' creative works to make your own. And a hell of a lot more fun to know you made it all yourself.)

I keep turning this whole thing around in my head -- how is it creative to copy someone else's everything and call it your "fusion." And I can't understand it, no matter how I try.

Apparently she is a graduate student and a teacher, thus the circular logic and high-and-mighty language as if she can talk her way out of, "Damn, I'm busted and now everyone will see me for what I am."
