Randomness

Real life has been kicking my ass and I'm getting tired of it.  *stomps RL flat*  Some company bought the company I work for and we all know we're out of a job, but no one has bothered to let as know exactly WHEN our last day will be.  Could be this week.  Could be next week.  Could be who the hell knows?  Meanwhile we have to provide them with every last bit of information we can dig up.  Which is taking WAY too much of my "lounging around doing nothing time".  (And my writing time.)  *cries*

At least I've been getting my novel chapters out (mostly) on time.  But I'm WAY behind on ficcage.  I finished Dray's fic, which is off at beta.  I'm hoping she gets it back to me if I bribe her with additional stories about the fabulous Z-bra.  So that one will be coming soon.  There might be a hiatus after that because 1) gotta find a new job 2) the other twelve fics are in various states of not-finished 3) they might yank my laptop and not let me buy it and 4) I can't think of any more reasons but I'm sure there is something.  

In other news, draykonis is nearly done with my commission for the cover of my novel and it's SO FREAKING AWESOME!!!!  And star_sailor13  is drawing pics for a total crack fic we cooked up together.  When she's finished, I'll post the fic and link the pics.  They are hysterical.
