Happy Birthday to ME!
May. 29th, 2007 08:40 amI love birthdays. I don't really know why, but I'm thinking it's probably the cake. For some reason, most people don't like chocolate fudge cake with chocolate fudge frosting, but it's my birthday and that's what I like. So, it's the only time I get chocolate, chocolate, cake.
On the downside, my laptop decided it was overworked and underappreciated, so it permanently shut itself off this weekend. Right after I typed a dozen pages of LaRue's script, so it got the last laugh. Luckily, I've known it was irate with me for quite some time and saved every important file elsewhere. I tried taking it apart and putting it back together, but it remained dark and mute. (Don't take laptops apart. It sucks.)
Now I have to find myself a new computer. I'm getting a desktop this time because I discovered that I never actually took the laptop anywhere. I prefer to hand-write and type later, in order to use that as the first edit.
I also finished my latest fic yesterday! Of course, it ended up to be twenty-three handwritten pages, so the typing stage should take awhile, especially since I have to do it here at work...
I'll get to those spreadsheets later...
