Happy Post and Recs

I was too tired to post happy yesterday, so here is yesterday's.  Most of the happy are recs, because instead of finishing Esby's Email Spam (also known as Christmas Drabbles or Here We Come a Wassailing) I've been reading ficcage.


1)  oldenuf2nb 's drabble series.  SO full of holiday SQUEE I can barely contain myself.  It's H/D exactly as I like it.  Delightful!
2)  The White Dragon.  One of the few hd_holidays fics I've read and this one was so delightful I did not even mind the PG13-ness of it.  Gorgeously written.
3)  Need I really mention faithwood 's ongoing not-drabbles?  They have all been the perfect length for a quick, satisfying read.  Like eating an entire plateful of fudge.  Okay, maybe that's too sweet.  Let's make that eating just enough fudge.  *grin*
4)  Wrapping presents.  I have not done nearly enough shopping this year because I have barely started wrapping.  I haven't been at work long enough to convince my coworkers to bring their packages to work so I can wrap them.  I've thought about volunteering at a gift wrap station at the mall just because I'm wrapping obsessed.  I never get sick of it.  Pretty paper and tape and ribbons and bows... SO AWESOME.
5)  OMFG thesamanthahope sent me the most gorgeous H/D card made by dirty_darella !  IT IS BEAUTIFUL, featuring a gorgeously elegant Draco in a gray coat and jean-clad, sweatshirt wearing Harry wrapped in a Slytherin scarf and being taken somewhat by surprise by Draco's kiss.  GUH.  And the whole thing is muted by snowfall.  Just lovely.  I'm sorry I didn't sign up for more cards because I've really enjoyed receiving the ones I have.  I love you guys.
6)  Vodka martinis.  I don't really care what flavor they are.  Bring them on.
7)  Christmas shopping with NO ONE else in the store.  Okay, there were maybe six of us brave enough to drive out into the ice.  It was awesome.  I left at 8:30 and was home by 10:00.  Woot!
8)  Working on the 2009 Fics to Write List with Esby.  Too funny!
